      Bought two. Sturdy construction but the flexibility for fishing pike. Bought this brand because I have older models of the same type that are great.

      This brand and model is the only rod I've used for years in saltwater and stressed to the maximum with over one thousand catches per year. Tried other brands of cheaper prices and there in the dumpster. Even top brand broke and eyelets rust after couple years went dumpster down. Just hope the quality hasn't dropped off the past 2 years since purchase of last 2 rods. Takes time to prove quality.

      Overall great rod ..fast tip with good backbone .My only suggestion would be a wire hook loop , other than great buy and great price
