Okuma Guide Select Pro Spinning Rod - The Guide Select Pro rods have been designed to give anglers a rod that will meet all their demands for a Salmon or Steelhead rod with out compromising anything. Okuma Guide Select Pro rods are the ultimate in steelhead rods. The 30/40 ton graphite is ultra-sensitive and responsive to the lightest of bites, but offers enough backbone to pick up line and set the hook on a long drift.

Liked it so much, I bought a 2nd GSP
I purchased a GSP-S-762UL, Line 2-6. This has become my favorite rod for throwing spoons and spinners for trout. It’s also sensitive enough for tube jigs and it recently handled a hard-fighting, 2 lb, 16” rainbow with ease. Not a trophy fish, but I liked it so much, I’ve purchased a second. Really great rod at this price.

Okuma Guide select pro 990M Spinning rod
First day outta the box. AMAZING! Not only landed the biggest river Chinook ever, over 22lbs. It did it with ease. Thought maybe I was under rodding when I bought it. No doubt now. I hooked up with fish I wouldn't have felt before. I was out-fishing everyone there 5 to 1. This is a very sensitive rod, but has a strong backbone with tons...and I mean tons of reserve power to getter on the beach. I will be buying more rods from this line. Thank you Tackle Haven!!!

As one who owns Finwick, Lamaglas, G Loomis and other rods, this may be the best. From wright to the feel and carbon fiber materials, it’s top notch.
