A tough and very versatile wire. Labelled and originally designed as a trolling wire, this line from Mason TACKLE CO. has since become much more. Great for general rig making when fishing for hard fighting or toothy fish or just while fishing over rough ground. Constructed of 1 x 7 Stranded, Stainless Steel Wire Fishing line, Kink and Rust resistant. Great when used with dipsys and other divers. Able to reach deeper depths than with braided or monofilament lines.

Unusual use
I purchased the Mason Stainless steel trolling wire to hang glass sculptures. The wire does not stretch, the 7 strands provides greater longevity to the wire rather the single strand construction. There is no stretch over time with 5 lbs weight.

trial use
It breaks easier than i thought it would. tied on swivels to this line and 30lb mono pulled on both the wire gave first. not very scientific for sure but was curious if i buy it again going to 45lbtest
